マイナンバーカードを保有している。

技術的には容易に実現可能である。
これは預言の成就を断定するものではないが、
黙示録の描写が現代社会の構造と重なって見えることは否定できない。

黙示録はこう語る。
「ここに知恵が必要である。
賢い者は、獣の数字の意味を考えるがよい。
数字は人間を指している。その数字は666である。」
この「666」については、

For these reasons, identifying the first beast simply as Nero is problematic.
Are the Beasts Past or Future Figures?

- Both beasts are future figures yet to appear
- The first beast has already appeared in history, and the second beast is yet to come
Revelation does not definitively confirm either.
However, the interpretation that prophecies span multiple eras has persuasive value.
The Second Beast and the Power to Animate the Image
Revelation states:
“The second beast was allowed to breathe life into the image of the first beast,
so that it could speak, and those who refused to worship the image were killed.”
This description resonates with modern robotics and AI technology,
which makes once-unimaginable scenarios technically feasible in today’s world.
The Mark of the Beast and a Society Where Buying and Selling Is Restricted
Revelation further explains:
“It forced all, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave,
to receive a mark on their right hand or forehead,
and no one could buy or sell without it.”
The mark represents either:
- The name of the beast
- Or the numerical value of its name
Parallels to Modern Systems of Control
For example, in Japan, many citizens already possess My Number Cards.
If in the future:
- Personal identification becomes fully digital
- And combined with implantable technology
then a society where buying and selling is restricted without a mark could, in theory, be realized.
This does not confirm prophecy,
but it illustrates how Revelation’s imagery can be seen as relevant to modern society.
Who Does the Number 666 Refer To?
Revelation states:
“This calls for wisdom.
Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast,
for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.”
Numerous interpretations of “666” have existed throughout history.
Gematria and the Nero Connection
One reason scholars linked the beast to Nero is Hebrew gematria,
a system assigning numerical values to letters.
Using this method,
“Nero Caesar (Neron Kaisar)” corresponds to 666.
This historical insight remains a key point in the study of Revelation.
A Question Left to the Wise
Yet, Revelation itself does not explicitly identify any individual.
As the text states,
“Let the wise calculate the number of the beast.”
Rather than providing a definitive answer, the chapter invites readers to reflect on:
- The nature of power
- The boundaries between faith and obedience
These are timeless and universal questions prompted by the prophecy.
