第三の秘密は二つ存在したのか？――封筒分離説とバチカン未公開の謎
ファティマ第三の秘密をめぐっては、
「第三の秘密は二つの封筒に分けられていた」
という証言が、複数の枢機卿や司教によって語られてきた。
この説によれば、シスター・ルシアは誰かの指示により、
第三の秘密を「言葉」と「ビジョン」に分け、
それぞれを別々の封筒に封印したと考えられている。
二つの封筒に分けられた第三の秘密
整理すると、次のようになる。
- 小さな封筒
- 聖母マリアの「言葉」とされる短い本文
- 大きな封筒
- 象徴的・視覚的なビジョンの描写
バチカンが2000年に公式公開したのは、大きな封筒の内容のみだった。
つまり、
- 言葉の部分は公開されなかったのか
- あるいは、ビジョン自体が別の形に差し替えられたのか
といった疑問が残る。
もちろん、これらは推測にすぎない。
しかし、こうした疑念が消えないのもまた事実である。

ルシアが繰り返し語っていたとされるテーマである。
① 教会内部の錯乱（背教の危機）
「教会の内部に混乱が起きる」という警告は、
第三の秘密と深く関係していると考えられてきた。
バチカン内部に悪魔崇拝者が潜んでいる、
という噂はかなり以前から存在する。
当然ながら、真偽を確認する術はない。
だが、なぜここまで疑念が消えないのか――
それ自体が問題なのかもしれない。
② 悪魔の“最後の戦い”は家庭と司祭を狙う
ルシアは、
「悪魔の最後の戦いは家庭と司祭を標的にする」
と語ったとされている。
日本を見ても、この数十年で核家族化が進み、
孤独の中で育つ子どもが増えてきた。
今なお、子どもの自殺のニュースに
心を痛める人は多いだろう。
また、「司祭を狙う」という言葉は、
聖職者もまた誘惑から無縁ではないことを
示唆しているように思える。
③ 多くの魂が迷っている
日本を含む多くの先進国は、
精神的な意味で「迷い人」が増えている印象がある。
一方で、日本では近年、
若い世代を中心に信仰心や愛国心を見直す動きも見られる。
少なくとも、
20〜30年前の極端な物質至上主義からは
脱し始めているようにも感じられる。
案外、日本人にはまだ期待できるのかもしれない。
④ ロシアの役割はまだ終わっていない
共産主義という「悪魔の思想」を捨てたロシアだが、
それでも「役割はまだ終わっていない」とルシアは語った。
その意味は何なのか。
一部では、
旧約聖書・エゼキエル書の預言との関連を指摘する声もある。
もしそうだとすれば、
第三の秘密は過去ではなく、
今なお進行中の問題なのかもしれない。
なぜバチカンは沈黙を続けるのか
結局のところ、
バチカン内部に問題が存在するからこそ、発表がためらわれたのではないか
という疑念が拭えない。
聖母マリアから
「カトリック教会に悪魔が入り込む」と警告され、
それに対して
「すでに入り込まれてしまいました」とは――
確かに、言いづらいだろう。
黙示録との関係――残された最大の疑問
さらに、ルシアが残したとされる証言の中には、
「第三の秘密は『黙示録』第8章から第13章に関係している」
というものがある。
もしこの証言が事実であるなら、
少なくともその関連性だけでも公表されるべきではないだろうか。
第三の秘密は、本当にすべて明かされたのか。
それとも、今なお沈黙の中に封じられているのか。
この問いは、いまだ終わっていない。

For decades, several cardinals and bishops have suggested a striking possibility regarding the Third Secret of Fatima:
that it was originally sealed in two separate envelopes.
According to this theory, Sister Lucia—possibly acting under instruction—divided the secret into “words” and “vision,”recording them separately and placing them into different envelopes.
The Two Envelopes Explained
The theory can be summarized as follows:
- The smaller envelope
Contained a short written text, believed to represent the Virgin Mary’s words. - The larger envelope
Contained a symbolic and visual description of a vision.
When the Vatican made its official disclosure in 2000,
it released only the contents of the larger envelope.
This raises difficult questions:
- Was the textual message never released?
- Or was the original vision altered or replaced before publication?
These remain speculative concerns, yet they persist precisely because they have never been fully resolved.
Themes Lucia Allegedly Emphasized After 2000
Following the Vatican’s announcement, Lucia was reported to have repeatedly emphasized several key themes.
These themes deserve careful attention.
1. Confusion Within the Church
One recurring warning involved confusion and internal disorder within the Church, sometimes described as a crisis of apostasy.
Rumors of occult or corrupt influences within the Vatican have circulated for many years.
While such claims cannot be verified, the persistence of these suspicions itself raises an important question:
why has trust eroded to this extent?
2. The Devil’s “Final Battle” Targets Families and Priests
Lucia is said to have warned that
the devil’s final battle would focus on families and priests.
In Japan, as in many modern societies, rapid nuclearization of families has increased isolation among children.
News of youth suicide continues to shock and grieve many.
The warning concerning priests may also suggest that spiritual leaders are not immune to temptation or moral failure.
3. Many Souls Are Lost and Confused
Many developed nations today appear to be filled with people searching for meaning.
At the same time, Japan has seen a modest but notable movement—particularly among younger generations—toward rediscovering faith, identity, and cultural roots.
Compared to the extreme materialism of 20–30 years ago, this shift may represent a quiet but meaningful change.
4. Russia’s Role Is Not Finished
Although Russia abandoned communism—often described in Fatima discourse as a destructive ideology—Lucia reportedly stated that Russia’s role was not yet complete.
Some researchers connect this statement to prophecies in the Book of Ezekiel, suggesting that the Third Secret may concern events still unfolding today.
Why the Vatican Remains Silent
The unresolved question remains:
Did the Vatican hesitate to reveal everything because the message implicated the Church itself?
If the Virgin Mary warned that evil would infiltrate the Church,
acknowledging such a failure publicly would be extraordinarily difficult.
Silence, in that context, may have seemed the safer path.
The Link to Revelation: A Final Unanswered Issue
Another testimony attributed to Lucia claims that:
“The Third Secret is connected to Revelation, chapters 8 through 13.”
If this statement is authentic, then at the very least, the nature of that connection deserves transparency.
Was the Third Secret fully revealed?
Or does part of it remain deliberately sealed?
The mystery of Fatima, it seems, is far from over.
