ノストラダムスが予見した「別の王国」とは何か？──未来に現れる支配者像を読み解く
前回の記事では、ノストラダムスが人類史の更新そのものを見ていた可能性について考察した。
しかし、そこで描かれている世界は、2026年現在の世界情勢をそのまま延長した姿ではないと考えられる。
その理由は、ノストラダムス自身が予言詩の中で、あえて
「別のものが王国を維持している」
と記している点にある。
ノストラダムスの時代と「王国」という言葉の意味
ノストラダムスが生きた16世紀、フランスは明確な王国であり、王権は政治体制の中核だった。
したがって、彼の言う「別のものが維持する王国」とは、当時存在していたフランス王国そのものを指すはずがない。
では、それは現代のフランス共和国を意味しているのだろうか。
なぜ「フランス共和国」では説明できないのか
結論から言えば、その可能性は低い。
なぜなら、共和国という体制は「王国」とは思想的にも構造的にも対極にある存在だからだ。
歴史を振り返れば、
- フランス王室は滅び
- その後、フランス共和国が成立した
しかしノストラダムスの文脈を丁寧に追うと、
共和国の成立が最終形であるとは読めない。
むしろ、その体制すら終焉を迎えた後、再び「王国」という形が現れることを示唆しているように見える。
「別のもの」とは誰、あるいは何なのか
ここで最大の焦点となるのが、
未来の王国を支配する「別のもの」の正体である。
この点を考える上で、重要な手がかりとなるのが、
有名な**1999年の予言に登場する「二人の王」**ではないだろうか。
- 「別のもの」は二人の王のうちの一人なのか
- それとも、二人の王を含む新たな支配構造そのものを指しているのか
この問いは、単なる人物特定ではなく、
支配の形そのものが変質する可能性を示している。
「太陽の時代」と予言の完成
ノストラダムスは、
その「別のもの」による支配体制が地上で完成した後、
世界が**「太陽の時代」**へ移行すると示している。
この「太陽の時代」は、
- 旧来の秩序の終焉
- 新しい価値体系への移行
- 人類史の一つの区切り
を象徴する表現と読むことができるだろう。
そしてその時こそ、
ノストラダムスの予言全体が一つの形として成就する瞬間なのかもしれない。
ノストラダムスの予言は、未来を当てるための言葉ではなく、
人類の支配構造と時代の転換点を示すための暗号である。
What Is the “Other Kingdom” Foreseen by Nostradamus?
Interpreting the Future Ruler Hidden in His Prophecies
In a previous article, I explored the possibility that Nostradamus was witnessing a renewal of human history itself.
However, the world he described does not appear to be a simple extension of the global order as it exists today.
One key reason lies in a striking phrase found in his prophecies, where he clearly states that
“another entity maintains the kingdom.”
This wording strongly suggests that the kingdom Nostradamus envisioned was not the same political structure that existed during his lifetime.
The Meaning of “Kingdom” in Nostradamus’ Time
In the 16th century, when Nostradamus lived, France was unmistakably a monarchy. Royal authority was absolute, and the concept of a kingdom was inseparable from the existence of a ruling king.
Therefore, when Nostradamus refers to a kingdom maintained by “another,” it is difficult to interpret this as a reference to the France of his own era.
Could this “other kingdom” refer to the modern French Republic?
Why the French Republic Is an Unlikely Candidate
The answer is likely no.
A republic is, by definition, structurally and philosophically opposed to a kingdom.
Historically:
- The French monarchy collapsed
- The French Republic emerged in its place
Yet Nostradamus’ language implies that the republic itself is not the final form of governance.
Instead, his words can be read as suggesting that even the republican system will eventually come to an end, giving rise once again to a new form of kingdom.
Who—or What—is the “Other One”?
This leads to the most intriguing question:
Who, or what, is the “other” that maintains this future kingdom?
A possible clue lies in the famous 1999 prophecy, which speaks of two kings.
- Is the “other” one of these two kings?
- Or does the phrase refer to an entirely new system of rule that includes both kings?
Rather than pointing to a single individual, Nostradamus may be describing a transformation in the structure of power itself.
The “Age of the Sun” and the Fulfillment of the Prophecy
According to Nostradamus, once this new kingdom is fully established on Earth, humanity will enter what he calls the “Age of the Sun.”
This expression may symbolize:
- The end of the old world order
- The emergence of a new spiritual or civilizational phase
- A decisive turning point in human history
At that moment, Nostradamus’ prophecies would not merely predict events—but reach their completion.
Nostradamus’ writings are not simply attempts to foresee the future.
They can also be read as encrypted messages about shifts in power, governance, and the destiny of human civilization.
